SUMMARY: This project consisted of decontamination of over
100,000 square feet of floor footage from two separate high schools in
1999 and a third school with identical remediation concerns in 2000. The
initial project in 1999 was the first ever undertaken by the school district
and it was imperative that the job was completed to allow the students
to return to school as scheduled. Having successfully completed the first
project, Spray Systems bid on the second school project to take place
the summer of 2000, and was awarded the project.
Scope
of work:
A - Removal and put back of all books, desks, classroom furnishings, wall-mounted
fixtures, lockers, etc.
B - Removal and put back of lay-in ceiling
C - Removal and put back of all fireproofed areas
D - Removal of all asbestos-containing tile
E - Disinfecting and steam cleaning of all carpeted areas
F - HEPA vac and disinfect interiors and exteriors of HVAC system
Work Force: 50+ workers
NOTE: The 1999 project was completed and turned back
over to the school district three weeks prior to scheduled completion
date, and was completed within budget, as was the summer 2000 project.

SUMMARY: Days before their grand opening this hospital
experienced a flood which was caused by a burst pipe. Spray Systems/ERI
was brought in on this emergency to stabilize the situation, after which
we provided decontamination services for the entire hospital. These services
consisted of deep cleaning and minor demolition of microbially impacted
sheetrock walls. We also provided cleanup for the contractor as they went
through their punch list items, as well as providing reconstruction in
the demolished areas. The project took approximately two and one-half
months and necessitated a workforce of upwards of 200 techs on the project
at any given time. Work was done 20 hours a day, seven days a week. Throughout
the project Spray Systems Environmental/ERI never missed a milestone date
for completion. The project had approximately 20 phases.
The work also included the protection of new finishes,
as well as multi-million dollar state-of-the-art medical equipment. All
work was completed on time and within budget.

SUMMARY: Due to design flaws in the school structure the
entire school had to be microbially decontaminated, gutted and demolished.
The scope of work consisted of all flooring, walls and duct work and took
approximately 30 days to complete. Also involved was the school library,
containing books. To meet the schoolÕs time frame, decontamination was
done seven days a week, around the clock, to allow students to have access
to the library as scheduled.
All work was completed on time and within budget.

Bank Office Building

FUNDING OF PROJECT/CONTRACT: $13,000
SUMMARY: Design flaws caused the chiller room in this office
to become contaminated with microbial contamination. Spray Systems Environmental/ERI
performed the necessary work during off hours so as not to impact the
bank buildingÕs customers and tenants. The entire mechanical room was
demolished and replaced with chain link fences. Spray Systems Environmental/ERI
coordinated the entire project, including decontamination, demolition,
and hiring and managing of a fence contractor for installation of a fence
around the subject area which was located in a parking garage.
All
work was completed on time and within budget.

Bank Branch Office

TOTAL
FUNDING OF PROJECT/CONTRACT: $9,500
SUMMARY: Due to microbial contamination, the scope of work
included removal of drywall, cabinetry and flooring in any employee area
and basement storage area. Work was performed over a weekend to facilitate
as little disruption as possible to customers and employees. We also hired
and coordinated the "put back" work under this compressed time frame.
All work was completed on time and within budget.

TOTAL FUNDING OF PROJECT/CONTRACT: $22,000 SUMMARY: The
scope of work performed by Spray Systems Environmental/ERI involved the
removal of sheetrock, cabinetry, paneling and flooring from three occupied
office suites and was completed nights and weekends to facilitate limited
interruption of business. Also provided was replacement of demolished
materials which included matching costly paneling and shelving. Unsalvageable
shelving was demolished and the remaining shelving was decontaminated
and reinstalled. The resultant repair and replacement of this custom shelving
unit saved the owner tens of thousands of dollars.
All work was completed on time and within budget.

SUMMARY: This project called for the removal of sheetrock
walls impacted by microbial contamination in certain areas of a doctorÕs
office. Spray Systems Environmental/ERI performed work during off hours
to minimize office interruption. This project also featured the replacement
of demolished sheetrock, including texturing, taping and painting to match
the remaining surfaces.
This project was completed on time and within budget.

FUNDING OF PROJECT/CONTRACT: $50,000
SUMMARY: Flooding caused microbial contamination in carpet,
flooring and some wall surfaces. Under the Spray Systems Environmental/ERI
contract, we coordinated the entire project which involved decontamination,
working with the flooring contractor for replacement activities and with
movers for removal and replacement of furnishings. The scope of work was
completed during seven consecutive weekends.
All phases were completed on time and within budget.

SUMMARY: While performing an abatement project for the remodeling
of the store, technicians noticed microbial contamination on an adjacent
site. Spray Systems Environmental/ERI immediately notified the owner and
was able to provide the necessary decontamination without adding any extra
days to the abatement project, thereby keeping the remodeling job on schedule.
All work was completed on time and within budget.

SUMMARY: Due to a plumbing incident the entire subject classroom
building had to be gutted to an eight foot level, decontaminated and reconstructed.
The project was completed in a two-week, around the clock time frame,
including the reconstruction. The reconstruction including replacing all
impacted drywall and carpeting throughout the building. Spray Systems
Environmental/ERI hired and coordinated these activities.
All work was completed on time and within budget.

SUMMARY: This project developed due to a flood in a basement
of a high-rise which caused major microbial contamination to spread throughout
the area. Spray Systems Environmental/ERI came in to the project to demolish
all of the impacted walls, clean all non-porous surfaces that were to
remain in the building and to decontaminate and move all stored items
of little or no value. In this process it became necessary to evaluate
approximately 6,000 highly significant legal files and decontaminate those
files which could be salvaged. Those not salvageable were copied and then
properly disposed of. This entire project took approximately 30 days and
work was performed around the clock.
The project was completed on time and within budget.

SUMMARY: This project was performed due to insurance claims
involving two residences which suffered plumbing related water damage.
Because of flooding and the resulting microbial contamination, Spray Systems
Environment/ERI removed drywall, cabinetry and flooring in both residences.
The scope of work was performed during a weekend to allow minimal move
out time and inconvenience for the occupants.
This project was completed on time and within budget.
